* "Enough of terror!" - 11h - 12h in front of the Media Center, Terazije 3, a theatrical action was organized by Reconstruction Women's Fund and Women in Black.
Street action had very good media coverage, and was marked by police security without incident. The street action was attended by over 50 people from women and human rights organizations, from Belgrade and a various towns in Serbia.
* We are asking for our rights, we demand accountability - 12h - 13h - press conference at the Media Center, on human rights violations, as well as the requirements of state for human rights and the fulfillment of international obligations of the state - Serbia
Moderator: Marija Perkovic from Women in Black<&em>, among other things, said the following:
Women in Serbia have paid the highest price of war, nationalism, militarism, and later criminal privatization, but , women were most active throughout that period in the fight against injustice and discrimination
At this point in Serbia almost all social groups are threatened, the number of extremely poor grows, violence against women and children is increasing drastically, members of the minority (ethnic, sexual, cultural ...), asylum seekers, human rights defenders.
