On the occasion of April 14, the Memorial Day for Survivors of Sexual Violence during the Kosovo War, Women in Black, the Autonomous Women’s Center, and the Youth Initiative for Human Rights are organizing a street action on April 14, 2026, at 12:00 at Republic Square in Belgrade.

For the Memorial Day for Survivors of Sexual Violence during the Kosovo War, Kosovo institutions—on the initiative of civil society—symbolically chose April 14, as on that day in 1999, Vasfije Krasniqi-Goodman, who was sixteen at the time, was raped by members of the Serbian police. She was the first woman to publicly speak out about the crime of sexual violence during the war in Kosovo.

It has been one year since the October 7, 2023 terrorist attack by Hamas on Israeli civilians, which was the reason for the genocidal offensive of the criminal Netanyahu regime in Gaza. It is a continuation of decades of Israeli occupation and colonization of Palestine.

October 7 is a tragic event for all of humanity, for all people in the Middle East, primarily for Palestinian and Israeli society. Women in Black is organizing an anti-war protest, in black and silence, in Knez Mihailova Street, from 14:00 in Belgrade.

Povodom 33. godišnjice zločina u Štrpcima, aktivistkinje Mreže Žena u crnom iz Prijepolja, Priboja, i Beograda, prisustvovaće 27.02.2026. komemoraciji u Prijepolju, zajedno sa porodicama žrtava.

Dana 27. februara 1993. godine, u 15:48h, na pruzi Beograd – Bar, u mestu Štrpci, iz voza broj 671 srpska paravojna formacija „osvetnici“, koja je delovala u rezervnom sastavu Višegradske brigade, Vojske Republike Srpske, pod komandom Milana Lukića, je izvela 19 putnika bošnjačke, jednog putnika hrvatske nacionalnosti i jedno nepoznato lice. Zarobljenici su odvedeni u fiskulturnu salu salu osnovne škole u selu Mušići, gde su prebijeni i opljačkani, a potom su ubijeni, u dvorištu kuće Rasima Čehića, u selu Prelovo.

Žene u crnom organizuju 7. oktobra 2025. u 16:00h antiratni protest u crnini i ćutanju u Knez Mihailovoj ulici (kod Ruskog cara) u Beogradu.

Navršavaju se dve godine od terorističkog napada Hamasa 7. oktobra 2023. na izraelske civile. To je bio povod za genocidnu ofanzivu zločinačkog Netanjahuovog režima na Gazu, što je nastavak višedecenijske izraelske okupacije i kolonizacije Palestine. 7. oktobar je tragičan događaj za celo čovečanstvo, za sve ljude na Bliskom istoku, prvenstveno za palestinsko društvo.

Women in Black is organizing a protest in mourning and silence "Stop the War in Ukraine" on April 13, 2022 at 4 pm in Knez Mihailova Street (near the Russian Tsar). On the same day, protests are held in Krusevac, organized by the women's association Peščanik, and in Leskovac, organized by the group for peace and women's rights Nena.

On February 24, 2022, the occupying troops of the Russian Federation carried out barbaric attacks on the territory of Ukraine. The biggest victim of the Russian aggressors is the civilian population, and the Ukrainian cities of Mariupol, Irpin, Bucha, Kramatorsk, Makarin and others are becoming toponyms for mass crimes against humanity. Evidence of mass graves, rapes, torture, and collective executions is accumulating on a daily basis. The criminal imperial militaristic campaign led by Vladimir Putin must be called GENOCIDE.

Occupying troops of the Russian Federation have been carrying out barbaric attacks on Ukraine since February 24, 2022. Invasion troops, criminally besieging cities, deprive civilians of water, electricity, medicine, food and destroy civilian infrastructure - hospitals, schools, all places of vital importance… Due to humanitarian catastrophe, terror and fear, over 2.8 million people from Ukraine sought refuge by fleeing neighboring countries. The war in Ukraine threatens to jeopardize the all too fragile world peace, and Putin's imperialist militarist campaign involves the danger of resorting to nuclear weapons.

Anti-war protest

On the occasion of the aggression of the Russian Federation against the Republic of Ukraine, Women in Black organize a protest in mourning and silence "Stop the war in Ukraine!" on Saturday, February 26, 2022, at 12 o'clock in Knez Mihailova Street, in front of the Russian Tsar restaurant.
