Report on activites January-April 2015.

As we have done in the past, we are providing you with a short report on the activities of Women in Black in the reporting period.

We would like to thank you in advance, in solidarity.

Street actions: In this reporting period we have organized eight (8) street actions.
- commemorations/marking important dates when crimes were committed in our names
- feminist, antifa, antiwar, antiracist, antimilitary,...

Commemorations of important dates of crimes committed in our name, as well as of other crimes against civilians during (and after) the wars in ex-Yugoslavia:

20 years of genocide in Srebrenica - We remember!: aiming to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the genocide in Srebrenica, every 11th of the month, together with peace organizations and art collectives from Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro, WIB organized a series of activities in Belgrade, Sarajevo, Kotor, as well as in other towns in Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro. Within this report, we will name other actions and activities (activist-artistic, lectures, debates, working meetings, film projections, etc.) and in this here column we name only street actions:

February 11th, Potocari/Srebrenica, Bosnia and Herzegovina: Solidarity visit to the Memorial Centre in Potocari/Srebrenica, as support to the women of Srebrenica, as solidarity with the families of the victims of the genocide in Srebrenica; this action was participated by activists of WIB from Belgrade, activists of the WIB Network from Serbia, as well as activists of UDIK (the Association for Social Research and Communication from Sarajevo). In Potocari, we visited the Memorial Centre and met with the women of Srebrenica.

March 11th, Kotor, Montenegro: On the main city Square, Anima (the Centre for Women's Peace Education from Kotor) in coordination with the Women in Black from Belgrade, held a protest in black and in silence "20 years of genocide in Srebrenica - We Remember!" The protest was participated by about 15 activists.

April 11th, Belgrade: in Knez Mihailova Street, Women in Black organized a protest in black and in silence, with huge banner which said "20 years of genocide in Srebrenica - We Remember!" The protest was attended by 30 persons, activists of Women in Black from following towns: Belgrade, Krusevac, Leskovac, Zrenjanin, Novi Becej.
