Report on activites January-April 2014.

As we have done in the past, we are providing you with a short report on the activities of Women in Black in the reporting period.

We would like to thank you in advance, in solidarity.

Street actions: In this reporting period we have organized eight (8) street actions.
- commemorations/marking important dates when crimes were committed in our names
- feminist, antifa, antiwar, antiracist, antimilitary,...

Commemorations/marking important dates of the crimes committed in our name, as well as other crimes committed against civilians during the wars in the former Yugoslavia:

27th of February, Belgrade-`We will never forget crime in Strpce`: anniversary of crimes committed in Strpce: where on 27th of February in 1993, at 3.48PM in the train 671, Belgrade- Bar, in Strpce station, 230 km from Belgrade, members of the armed formations: `Avengers,' Army of Republic of Srpska, abducted 19 non-Serb (18 Muslims and one Croat). Approximately forty (40) activists of Women in Black, the Humanitarian Law Center and Youth Initiative for Human Rights marked the anniversary of the abduction in Strpci in front of Belgrade's main railway station on February 27th.

26th of March, Belgrade-We remember crimes in Kosovo: Women in Black peace action due to fifteen years of crimes over Albanian civilians in Kosovo. There was also a reconstruction of the crime scene action with the support of art collectives-Multimedia Center LED ART/Art Clinics from Novi Sad and Dah Theatre from Belgrade. In solidarity, sympathy with the families of those who were killed, but also to sensitize the public oppinion in Serbia for the crimes of the Serbian armed forces. The action joined 35 people. The operation was conducted without incident, but the day after this peace action was followed by a brutal attacks, threats, calls for lynch of Women in Black.

23d of April, Belgrade-action `Why`: The activists of Women in Black joined on 23d of April (at 2.06AM and at 2.06PM) families, colleagues and friends of 16 employees of Serbian Radio Television, who have died on 23d of April, 1999 at 2.06AM in the attack of NATO and were killed in 1999. Near monument `Why?` in Belgrade, in Tasmajdan park, fifteen (15) activists of Women in Black have laid a wreath with the words `We remember.`
